I’M HAVING A CRATE TIME

A fictional packaging project for a souvenir that would be sold by Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, targetting illegal poaching. The facade of a crate packaging depeicts how big cats are being trafficked and poached from their natural habitats. opening the crate will reveal the (stuffed toy) animal trapped inside. The act of opening the crate is also a metaphor of releasing the animal from captivity.

NIN JIOM PACKAGING REDESIGN

Two solutions were conceptualised from a process of surveys and research to improve the experience of buying and using Nin Jiom Hearbal Candy, whilst targeting waste reduction through circular design. The first is an ergonomic tube design which doubles as a ‘tube handle’ which can ease the load of carrying of gocery bags for elderly shoppers. The second is a self dispensing packaging targeted at drivers, which allows them to remove a candy from the packaging with one hand.
